What admin-led matchmaking actually means
Most dating platforms hand you a grid of strangers and leave the rest to you. Dysire does the opposite: nobody browses anybody. Every introduction on the platform is made by a person on our team who has read both applications in full.
It begins with an application. You tell us who you are, what kind of arrangement you're looking for, your lifestyle, your availability and — just as importantly — your boundaries. None of this is published anywhere. It sits in a private record only our review team can open.
Next comes live verification. Instead of asking you to upload a scan of a passport that we would then have to store, we ask for a short live camera check in the browser. It confirms that the person applying is the person in the photos, and that they are an adult. The capture is compared against your profile photos and then held only as long as it is needed.
Once you are approved, your status becomes Active — awaiting match. From here you do nothing. There is no feed to refresh. Our team looks at role, age range, city, lifestyle and stated boundaries, and waits until there is a genuine fit rather than filling your inbox with near-misses.
When we find one, both members receive a short introduction: a first name, an age, a city, a few lines about who the other person is. No phone number, no email, no last name. If either person says no, the other is never told who declined. If both say yes, we open a private channel between you and only then release contact details.
The result is slower than an app and deliberately so. Fewer conversations, far fewer time-wasters, and nobody's face sitting in a public directory.
